It all starts with a Golden Conversation

At TTS we understand the importance of working with teachers to develop the resources they want and need. Hundreds of hours each year are spent out and about meeting with teachers, advisors and education professionals. This ensures our resources meet the ever-changing needs of teachers and children in our schools today. In 2012 TTS developed a staggering 505 teacher inspired resources! And we thought it would be interesting to find out how it all works and you never know, your idea might be the next best seller!

From a little idea to help one child to a worldwide best seller!

Your great idea – If you’ve got a great idea, one of the TTS team will come and visit you. Over a cup of tea and a biscuit they’ll spend time getting to know you and all about your idea. From what it should be made out of and how big it should be, through to the educational benefits and the fun factor; you’ll find your idea starts to take shape. You may even have made something yourself that you are using in your classroom. TTS resources often start with “something my dad made for me” or a game that has been painstakingly cut out and stuck together by a dedicated teacher for her class.

Tried and tested – Once they have all the information they need on your idea, the next step is to find a find the right company to manufacture it. TTS work with hundreds of suppliers all over the world! Once they have found the right one for your idea they will produce samples for testing by yourself and other teachers or practitioners, as well the TTS quality team. All TTS resources are tested rigorously to ensure they meet the needs of teachers and children, and they comply with the highest quality standards!

It’s signed off and ready to be made – After the TTS team have signed off the final sample, the next step is manufacture. TTS pull out all the stops to ensure there is stock in their warehouse for when the new catalogues arrive in schools and orders are placed.

Time to shout about it – Once we receive the final resource you’ll be one of the first to see it. The new catalogues will land in every Primary School in the UK in the first week of January and your fantastic new resource will be ready and waiting to help engage children and support learning – and if things go really well, we’ll sell it all around the world!

Many of the resources TTS develop are globally portable and not language dependent therefore they are able to sell them all around the world, introducing innovative and pioneering methods of learning.
