Black History Month
Black History Month takes place every year in the UK throughout October. It is a time to celebrate the contribution Black communities and individuals have made over the centuries to our freedoms, cultures, and societies.

While October is a time to celebrate Black history, it should not begin and end there. Promoting and celebrating black contributions to British society and fostering an understanding of Black History all year round in your curriculum is essential.
