Overview

• Enhance programming skills with this interactive bundle, featuring a Tactile Reader Pro and Loti-Bot robot to support coding education.

• It offers a seamless transition from early to advanced programming using a screen-free device for coding and computational thinking.

• With the Tactile Reader, children can create sequences by placing the tiles in order, each representing a different command. It allows young learners to build and de-bug algorithms for the included Loti-Bot. The tiles feature directional commands representing the following movements, forwards, backwards, left (90°) and right (90°). A pause command is also included. Children can learn to create, troubleshoot and refine their programs and debugging is simplified as each tile lights up when working through the sequence.

• Using Bluetooth connectivity, the Tactile Reader is compatible with Loti-bot which features programmable movements, highly accurate drawing capabilities and a variety of inputs and outputs. Includes programmable LEDs and light sensors, a microphone and speaker with 20 pre-loaded sounds as well as an adjustable pen holder and buddy and cliff sensors.

• Using the additional Loti-Bot tiles, pupils can program Loti-Bot’s RGB LEDs and headlights as well as play sounds, allowing for a more advanced, screen free coding experience. Includes 8 sound tiles, 12 RGB tiles and 4 headlight tiles.

• Key Stage two focuses on developing critical thinking by designing and debugging programs, fostering problem-solving through task decomposition. These resources build computing confidence, enabling control and simulation of physical systems.

• In Key Stage one, fundamental concepts of algorithms and digital programming are introduced. Children gain hands-on experience, implementing algorithms on digital devices and learning logical reasoning, which prepares them for future technology education.
