Overview
While manufacturers strive to make paints less likely to stain, all paints contain pigments, and staining may occur. It is advisable to use protective coverings and clothing when painting.
To remove wet paint from clothing: wipe off excess with a dry cloth, soak in cold water overnight, place an absorbent pad under the stain, blot with a dry or slightly moistened cloth, then wash with a stain remover if necessary.
For dried paint, hand wash with bar soap in warm water. Avoid synthetic and biological detergents.
