Overview

For Year two, it helps children recognise the place value of each digit in a two-digit number (10s, 1s). By Year four, it aids in recognising the place value of each digit in a four-digit number (1,000s, 100s, 10s, and 1s). For Year six, it supports identifying the value of each digit in numbers given to three decimal places, and multiplying and dividing numbers by 10, 100, and 1,000, giving answers up to three decimal places.
This resource is framed and wall mountable, making it suitable for different learning environments. The grid remains fixed while the dry wipe surface allows teachers and children to write and slide digits. Ideal for interactive lessons in an outdoor setting.
