Overview
Enhance programming skills with this mat, supporting simple program creation and debugging in computing lessons.
Ideal for early programmers, this mat use the familiar topic of school, to introduce coding and combines both computing and geographical skills. Featuring detailed illustrations of common items found in a school, which would be familiar to primary aged children. Children can develop their programming skills by being tasked to navigate to a square containing a certain school object. The mat can also be used to develop children’s basic geographical skills by reinforcing directions and locational language. With 15 x 15cm squares, each mat is compatible with Loti-bot, but can also be used with Bee-Bot and Blue-Bot.
