What is a Boromi Play Library?
Boromi’s Play Libraries equip a school or nursery with a carefully curated range of play bags that settings can loan out for families to borrow, take home and explore together – carefully curated to spark moments of hands-on, language-rich, shared family play.
Built around Boromi’s four core play principles – Invent, Imagine, Investigate, and Share – every play bag comes with all the resources and inspiration families need to jump in and discover what’s inside. At the end of each term, your play bags swapped with new bags delivered so the play can continue a refresh throughout the school year.
Who are Boromi?
Play matters. That’s why Boromi – (‘borrow-me’) – are building a national, non-profit Network of Play. Through their evidence-based and multi-award-winning early years Play Libraries, Boromi are working partnership with educational and community settings across the UK to empower parents with children from 0-5+ years to nurture early language and development through playing and talking together.

One lucky winner could win their nominated school/nursery the use of a Boromi Play Library for the 2025/2026 academic year.
This prize will allow children and their families to lend play bags from the setting’s Play Library and enjoy different activities each term at home.
