Overview

• This innovative set of four waterproof light up cubes features integrated channelling holds, allowing children to connect tubing, gutters and flow components directly into the structure. Designed for use alongside the Light Up Messy Pit, Light Up Buckets and Light Up Cubes, they encourage investigation of gravity, flow, volume and cause and effect. Ideal for indoor and outdoor STEAM provision.

• These cubes have been developed to transform water and messy play into purposeful scientific exploration. Each cube features integrated channel holds that allow children to insert channelling pieces, tubes or connectors, creating dynamic water pathways between structures. As water flows through and between cubes, the internal light illuminates movement, making abstract concepts such as gravity, direction and volume visible and engaging. Children naturally begin to experiment, what happens if I lift it higher? Why is the water moving faster? How can I redirect the flow? These moments of investigation build foundational engineering thinking, early physics and understanding and collaborative problem-solving.
