TTS Light Up Messy Pit Collection & Glow Cubes

Overview

• Children can explore the effects of light through different material as they interact. This collection is perfect for sand, water and messy play. Supporting both independent and collaborative play by engaging children in STEAM activities and sensory exploration.

• Two options available - the Messy Pit Collection or a set of 4 Glow Cubes. The Messy Pit Collection includes a large cube pit, two cubes, and two buckets that are all rechargeable. All of the Messy Pit glow items create a rounded sensory experience for every child. These can be used both indoors and outdoors (not to be stored outside) to create a different experience. Children can engage their senses as they explore different materials. With the right accessories, children can develop fine motor skills as they use their tools to manipulate. Seeing the effects of light encourages early scientific exploration and building foundation learning as children experiment and predict. Children can work on their mathematical skills as they view volume, measurements and capacity.

• The Messy Glow Cubes are open-ended and can be used in many different ways. You could create a glowing city by turning these onto their sides and creating little homes for characters and figures to live inside. Children have opportunities to work on creativity, communication and language skills as they explore, you could turn one cube red and encourage children to find objects around their environment that match. This helps to support children's early mathematical development as they match, sort, and count amounts. These cubes are waterproof and can hold different types of messy materials inside. These work as mini little stations for children to explore activities either independently or collaboratively. You can have these spaced out so that children have time and space to focus in on their chosen activity or you could use these together to create one larger collaborative activity. There are so many opportunities for children to engage in STEAM integrated activities and sensory exploration. The Messy Cubes can be stacked within the messy Pit for easy and efficient storage when not in use.
