To aid emotional regulation and mindfulness, children can trace patterns, helping them inhale and exhale calmly and steadily.
How to use: To help children refocus and remain calm, they can trace the boards with their finger, starting on the outside line and breathing in as they follow the line. They then breathe out as it comes back around. This can be done using a small ball as well. By spending a few minutes tracing the lines, children can achieve a calm state and better manage their anxiety and overwhelming feelings.
