Robotics Mats - At the Restaurant

Contains 4 mats which seamlessly connect to create a realistic restaurant and kitchen setting, as well as featuring a host of ingredients and food preparation methods. Also includes activity cards with coding and lesson ideas for use with the TTS robotics range.

  • The activity cards include information and activities which focus on the different tasks found in a busy restaurant setting. Children can follow the recipe cards to take orders in the restaurant and then prepare the food following the correct recipe and method.

  • Aligned to the D&T and Science curriculums, the mats enable children to explore food preparation methods and the topic of healthy eating.

  • The activity cards incorporate the use of resources from within the TTS robotics range, including Bee-Bot, Blue-Bot, Loti-Bot and Oti-Bot. Suitable for all Key Stages, programming skills are built progressively through the lesson ideas.

  • The extra-large size of the connected mats facilitates collaboration, as larger groups of leaners can work together at one time. This engaging and realistic bundle enables learners to appreciate the jobs involved in the hospitality and catering industry. It also encourages children to expand their programming skills as they use the robots to perform some of those jobs.
