Place Value

To develop deeper connections, children need to use a variety of representations, including those related to measure, to enable them to count in 1s, 10s and 100s, so that they become fluent in the order and place value of numbers to 1,000 and beyond. We have developed a range of hands on resources, from base ten and place value sliders through to arrows and place value counters, using our mastering activity cards to help reinforce their understanding.
