Fibreglass paddle design

Lightweight fibreglass paddles support powerful shots and soft touch. Thinner handles provide a comfortable fit, while the durable hitting surface supports varied pickleball practice.

Inclusive racket play

Pickleball brings tennis, badminton and table tennis elements together, giving children familiar racket and net-game principles to explore through one activity.

Develop movement skills

Use the pack for competitive and team games, helping children practise simple attacking and defending tactics alongside running, jumping, throwing, catching, balance, agility and co-ordination.

Power and control

Players who feel confident with their drives can work on additional power and roll. The hitting surface also supports soft touch, offering contrasting ways to approach pickleball shots.

Pickleball United Primary Paddle Class Pack

A quality, class pack for pickleball paddle activities with indoor balls, outdoor balls and a holdall.

Overview

  • Use the lightweight fibreglass paddles for pickleball skills and drills, with indoor and outdoor balls supporting varied play.

  • Pickleball is an inclusive sport, combining elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. Practitioners can use paddle play and ball flight to introduce control, striking and movement, then build pickleball skills and drills for children through guided activities. Familiar racket-sport movements give children a clear starting point for exploring how their actions affect play.

  • This set consists of 30 Pickleball United primary paddles, 15 indoor pickleball balls and 15 outdoor pickleball balls. The balls have precise, single-sized holes drilled into their surface so they fly true and remain consistent during play. The outdoor balls come in a striking, high visibility neon so they're easy to see no matter what colour the court or how dull the weather is. The set also comes with a handy holdall for easy storage and transportation.

  • For Key Stage 2 Physical Education, practitioners can use competitive games to develop basic attacking and defending principles. They can modify play where appropriate and guide children to respond to an opponent, applying tactical choices through activities based on established racket-game elements.

  • For Key Stage 1 Physical Education, team games and simple attacking and defending tactics can support running, jumping, throwing, catching, balance, agility and co-ordination. These aims align with the curriculum matches and support movement skills through pickleball activities.
