Move & Learn Physical Activity Starter Kit

The Move & Learn activity tub is a cross curricular, open ended resource designed to get children active.

• Collated by active learning specialists Ian Holmes and Bryn Llewellyn, this kit activates learning in a unique, easy to implement way, for more engaged and energised learning in schools.

• Containing open ended equipment that allows for a huge variety of active learning to take place both in and out of the classroom, the printed resource cards provide comprehensive planning and implementation guidance to ensure teachers have confidence to try the methods and tailor them for their children in time.

• Provides a concrete way to reduce sedentary time across the school day, important for children's health and well being. Move & Learn approaches are part of a learning sequence that directly or indirectly incorporates an appropriate type of physical activity to enhance the learner’s development, improves learning and collaboration.
