Movement Activities for Children

By extending the experience of movement with parachutes, streamers, pom-poms and scarves, children can develop the transfer of weight, extension and flexion, spatial-awareness and co-ordination. Resources can give children the opportunity to express themselves through the medium of movement and dance, as well as encourage social interaction and collaboration. TTS has provided a selection of resources that will help support the creativity of dance and movement activities in the early years.
