Developing children's scientific vocabulary is crucial for effective participation and understanding in science. The science dice offers an engaging, hands-on method to help children recall and apply science-specific terms. This resource includes sets of topic-related, age-appropriate scientific words for use with 12 cm foam dice featuring clear window pockets.

Each vocabulary set consists of an A4 page with six words that can be cut into cards and inserted into the dice pockets. Teachers can use complete sets or mix and match words to meet their students' needs. The Primary Science Teaching Trust provides these vocabulary sets along with a comprehensive teacher guide on how to maximise the use of science dice in the classroom.
