Using ‘The Programming Journey’ and other expert guides written by Andrew Bush, our in-house expert and ex-ICT advisor, we’ll show you how to embed computing into your school.
The journey spans from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2, and covers a range of topics:
Key Stage 1:
- Action, reaction and the use of directional language
Key Stage 2:
- Building, testing and debugging algorithms created for Bee-Bot®
- Programming how far and the angles in which the Pro-Bot™ manoeuvres
Subjects to be covered include:
- Computer Science
- Digital Literacy
We hope you find this blog useful and enjoy teaching computing as much as the children in your school enjoy learning it. Look out for the next blog in our Programming Journey series – ‘Key Stage 1 Computer Science’, where we will cover:
- Algorithms
- Creating and debugging simple programs
- Logical reasoning
