Time Activity Cards - Differentiated (48pcs)

Encourages children to draw clock hands and tell the time in analogue and digital formats.

Overview

  • These time activity cards help children learn to tell time effectively. The set includes eight A4 drywipe boards with clock faces and forty A5 activity cards. The cards are colour-coded: green for beginners, yellow for intermediate learners, and red for advanced learners, allowing teachers to cater to different learning stages.

  • In Year one, children use the green beginner cards to learn to tell the time to the hour and half past the hour, and to draw clock hands for these times, aligning with the curriculum. In Year two, the yellow intermediate cards teach children to tell and write the time to five minutes, including quarter past and quarter to the hour, and to draw clock hands for these times.

  • By Year four, children use the red advanced cards to read, write, and convert time between analogue and digital twelve- and twenty-four-hour clocks. This ensures that children build a solid foundation in time-telling skills as they advance.
