Children can use these characters to become anything from their imagination, an illuminated green alien from outer space or a bright blue superhero with magical powers. With a press of the button children can change the colour or have them rotate through instead. These are a wonderful way to explore early mathematical skills, children can use these for sequencing, sorting, classifying and counting. Incorporating these into a loose parts and construction area encourages children to use resources independently and in the moment. They may be creating a huge iceberg and need a waddle of penguins or are building a home for their families.
