Explore the world in a music lesson with this selection of instruments from Africa, Asia, India and South America.
This smaller multicultural set is ideal for use with groups or as an addition to our larger Multicultural Basket ( MES932 - see our 'you may like' tab).
With enough instruments for 15 players, your class will delight in investigating the different sounds and shapes of this authentic set. Use as part of a geography project, display the instruments on a table and discuss the lives of the people who live in the countries where the instruments come from.
Children are responsive to musical instruments and will love to experiment with the sounds and tone qualitites of sticks, drums, shakers, bells and a variety of other instruments. Our selection will provide rich and varied opportunities for young children to focus on creative exploration. Each instrument is different, simple to use, and can be played in many interesting ways.
To make teaching easier for you, we'll include a free DVD of Music In The Classroom, which contains lots of music-making ideas for lessons.
