What the judges said:
"Innovative in its simple solution to providing young children and their teachers with a constant and glitch-free way of recording.
The judges felt that this product supports many learning opportunities by encouraging young people to use speech in a variety of contexts: from recording information on field trips to creating role-play.
The cost of the product also enables whole classes to be involved, giving teachers an opportunity to change the way that they work."
Winner of a GOLD Practical Pre-School Award 2007
Overall Winner in the Electronic category 2008.
What the testers said:
"The Easi-Speak microphone is child-friendly, compact and easy to use! the playback sound is of good quality. It is excellent for use with phase one phonics - we use it on a listening walk and played back the sounds for the child to recall.
A great resource to encourage language skills and creative development, many children felt comfortable and expressed themselves more when using the tool - particularly children with English as their second language!
Knowledge and understanding was developed as the children explored how to use the device, using the appropriate language. Also very useful as an assessment tool in all areas of learning as evidence can be stored on the computer."

Our customers say...
"
Children who can be pretty good with their science ideas through discussion, rather than written language, will find this particularly useful.
It is a useful way to demonstrate recording and assessment as a 'different' type of evidence.
