• Link colour to number e.g. red = 3, blue = 1, what colour is red and blue together.

• Movement - Link colours to movement such as green means put hands above your head – build up sequences of movement, e.g. build up dance routines and add music.

• Instructions - Create a treasure trail with pre-recorded instructions – could be teacher or child led.

• Story – colours could be used to represent characters in a story or the sequence of events in a story, provoking discussion.
