Topic Kit - Under the Sea Y3/4

Everything you need to get your ‘Under the Sea’ topic off to a great start.

Intended as a start-up pack to support an Under the Sea topic, the kit includes a bright wall hanging, non-fiction texts and a Coast Creator Experiment Kit.

Consists of a dramatic wall hanging, photographic image of an Under the Sea setting, designed in 4 pieces each measuring 600mm x 2000mm, to set the scene and 3 copies each of 5 carefully chosen non-fiction books to encourage collaborative investigation of the topic. Also includes a Coast Creator Experiment Kit,to help children to understand coastal erosion and defence. Fill the tray with sand to create a beach, place the stones as a sea defence (or create spits with pieces of wood), fill with water and create waves to ‘attack’ the beach front.
