Energising and calm activities to help refocus students.
When your class needs to refocus their prefrontal cortex it’s time for a brain break. Choose either a stimulating energising activity or a quiet calming one. There are different activity durations, ranging from a snappy 30 seconds to a more intensive 5 minutes. Focus attention and make a positive impact on emotional states and learning.
The activities are good for refreshing thinking and helping to discover another solution to a problem.
