Let children’s creativity flourish and their independence develop as they take ownership of their own creative learning.

Encourage creativity as children engage in arts and crafts, painting, drawing, writing and any other creative activities they may wish to engage in. Support children in extending their imaginations as they explore new ways in which they can express themselves and share their ideas visually.

Position the resources in a way to allow children to make choices about what they would like to use by self-selecting and self-accessing the resources. Allow children to develop and extend their fine motor skills as they engage in creative activities. The Mermaid Frames add a sensory aspect to children’s development of fine motor skills.
