Random Spot Dominoes
Reinforce the concept of 'subitising' with this set of 36 double sided dominoes showing spots of 1 to 5 in a random position, so that children can understand the true concept of 'number' i.e. number is not about size, shape or colour, and that quantity does not change because form changes.

On one side the spots are shown with a numeral and on the reverse spots are shown with the number name. The dominoes have been arranged in a clever way such that the game can be played in three ways: numerals matched to spots, number names matched to spots and mixed. Suitable for KS1 upwards.
