Knowing & Using Number Facts

Right from the Foundation Stage it is crucial for children to learn about number relationships and patterns. Specifically how to fact find, observe and gather their information from their own environment. By developing these techniques, children can explore how to use their findings, apply their knowledge and build their confidence with number facts, right up to KS2 and KS3, where children are able to apply estimation and approximation into their calculations.
