Rainbow Sparkles are a fantastic new resource to use in Sand & Water play. These pellets are a great replacement for sand, rice or porridge oats and provide a brilliant 'messy play' experience - without the mess! Hide things in the Sparkles for children to find or simply let them enjoy the sensory experience of playing with them as they would rice or other messy play mediums. The Rainbow Sparkles also float on water, adding another dimension to play. Made from translucent polypropylene plastic pellets, they are non-allergenic and completely safe for use in nurseries; they can be reused time and time again by washing or sterilising.
Available as a single 4 litre bag of mixed colours or now as a double pack of 8 litres. For ages 3yrs+.

I was very disappointed with this product. i ordered one pack of these at over £20 only to discover they would not even half fill a small washing up bowl. in the picture in the catalogue and the one on line shows a boy playing with these in a sand/water tray. you would need many packs of these totalling probably £100 to half fill our sand tray. I was looking for an alternative material to sand but this would have been extremely costly. i felt that the picture didn't match reality. I had to send them back.
