A brilliant resource when looking at Fairgrounds, systems and control at KS2. The K'NEX® Education Amusement Park Experience Set, provides an opportunity to combine real-world applications with STEM concepts in the primary classroom. It demonstrates various concepts relating to forces and energy, simple mechanisms and elements of Maths and Physics.
K'NEX is a true construction kit; the parts are colour coded to help with identification when building. K'NEX uses a range of rods, connectors and accessory parts which can be connected in various planes and at different angles. Models will stay together in use, but can still be disassembled easily.
This set includes 2264 K'NEX® parts - enough to build 13 K'NEX® Amusement Park Rides, two motors are also provided to power the models.
This set will allow you to make the following models:
• 2 x Roller Coasters • 2 x Swing Rides • 4 x Ferris Wheels • 1 x Pirate Ship Ride • 4 x Boom Rides
You can build two of most models simultaneously, supporting 6-8 children working as teams. Building instructions and comprehensive teacher's guide are aligned to Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths education.
Compatible with the Flowgo, children can plug in the motors, program and control each model.
The Teacher's Guide offers a teaching approach that challenges students to take an active role in constructing their own knowledge by engaging in hands-on, inquiry-based learning and by interacting and collaborating with other students.
Packaged in three strong storage trays, with snap-on lids.
