A low cost answer to your Boccia needs. Bean Bag Boccia enable you to play the game of Boccia without spending hundreds of pounds on expensive equipment. You can also play simple target games made by the rope provided.

Challenge children to come up with their own games with the equipment provided.

All bean bags within this kits have been developed so they are just the right size for small hands. Many different games can be played with all this equipment, many of which are highlighted in the teacher notes.

The beanbags are filled with high quality plastic pellets which make them stand tall once they have been thrown. Use the rope to mark out a target, whatever shape you like, or use it as a line to mark out where the players must stand!

This kit contains: 13 x durable triangular beanbags (1 x yellow, 6 x red and 6 x blue), 1 x 7ft double coloured rope, teachers notes and 1 draw string bag to keep it all in.

The Rules of Boccia

  • The rules of Boccia

  • The aim of the game is to get your boules closer to the jack than your opponent

  • The jack is thrown first

  • One person has 6 red boules and one has 6 blue boules

  • The opponent who is furthest away from the jack will keep throwing their boules until they get a boule closest or until they run out of balls

  • Once all the boules have been thrown one side receives points for every boule they have closer to the jack than their opponents closest ball
