These transparent plastic sheets show measurement of angles for use throughout the Primary years.
in Key Stage 1 children can use the individual angles of 90º, 60º, 45º and 30º to check angles in objects and drawings. The transparency enables children to see objects beneath to confirm whether it fits the angle or not.
Drawing and measuring angles is developed in Key Stage 2 with a simple protractor, marked in 10º increments progressing up to 90º. This is a 'first protractor', simple to move around, and helpful when children are beginning to measure angles.
Set squares include the familiar 60º, 30º and 45º, 90º angles, though as they are on transparent sheet they cant have their edges broken. A third set square shows obtuse and reflex angles. Unlike most set squares the angle is marked at each vertex.
Easy to use, they will be a real help in developing progression in understanding angles and how to measure them across the school.
Each set contains 60 transparencies (15 x 4 individual designs).
